Honda Motor Corporation - refused to repair or replace defective generator unit that was advertised to
provide "computer-clean" power but will not charge my solar system batteries. (HATCH MOTORS in Snowflake,
AZ)
InHouse Warranty Company - purchased several home warranties for rental properties from them. Their "inspection" resulted in trying to con me into paying them $199+tax to "clean the coils" otherwise, "your warranty will be void". Another "home warranty scam". (Scottsdale, AZ)
Sensible Home Warranty Company - bad water heater in rental property. It took 4 days before they even sent "the plumber" to check the situation (Grace Plumbing). Eventually had to take matters into my own hands and then fight with SHW for reimbursement.
Grace Plumbing (Phoenix area) - (SHW's contractor from above) They told me they would install the water heater that SHW was paying for EXCEPT that I "need an upgrade" to complete the installation and that would cost me $515 **additional** out of my pocket. (The ones who I finally had do the install only charged an additional $65 for a couple of new copper pipes and a valve!)
Griffin's Propane - contracted
to install gas piping, the worker (after I specifically told the salesman to make sure that no cutting oil was spilled on
my property) let the excess oil from pipe cutting and threading to drip directly on the ground right next to my house.
(Arizona, New Mexico)
AZ Toolman / Jason Markowich - contracted to rehab small residential property, he installed a defective appliance and refused to even go check the problem; finally, I had to purchase a replacement unit out of my pocket.
C & H Plumbing - after delivering an ecommerce website to their specifications, they refused to send payment until several letters, the last threatening legal action, before payment was received, more than 6 months after due; they then had the gall to contact me and ask for more free help.
Sony - purchased camcorder, software "inadequate", refused to provide decent software, which rendered camcorder worthless and useless.
Acer - purchased laptop, no case available; refused to provide proper support and fixes for their Windows Media Center "crapware"
Microsoft - refused to provide support for Windows problems - outright REFUSED!!!
FENDER Guitars - purchased CD160-SE12 (12-string) in black. First time strings were changed, it took nearly 4 hours! Fender, in cahoots with Majestic Music in Show Low, AZ, said there was no problem with the guitar even though it took MM nearly 15 minutes to change ONE string they wound too tight and broke! They won't stand behind their products.
